Inflation eases slightly in Kazakhstan

Inflation in Kazakhstan stood at 10.3% in June 2026, compared to 10.4% in May 2026, while monthly inflation was 0.8%, up from 0.7% in the previous month, the Bureau of National Statistics reported.

Food prices increased by 10.4% year-on-year (10.7% in May 2026), non-food prices rose by 11.7% (11.7% in May 2026), while paid services increased by 9% (8.7% in May 2026).

Prices for meat and poultry rose by 17.6%, sausages and meat products by 16.3%, eggs by 15.3%, cheese and cottage cheese by 11%, milk by 10.9%,…
