With the exception of a small part of Kazakhstan, the five Central Asian countries—Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan—are landlocked, with Uzbekistan being double landlocked, surrounded entirely by other landlocked countries.
